Gorgeous little ground cover, spreads by short runners and forms a dense matt of rosettes with oval-shaped green/brown leaves. It has dark purple flowers on spikes held above the foliage in summer. Looks good all year round.
Fantastic groundcover for shady areas, and contrasts well with other plants. Perfect for growing in rockeries, or around pavers. Will grow in sun but prefers afternoon shade, and will need to be watered occasionally when dry. This variety has larger leaves than the ‘chocolate chip’. Grows to 15cm high.
