Great little groundcover, has oval green/brown leaves which form rosettes. Spreads by short runners creating a dense groundcover. Loves shade but will tolerate full sun. Has blue-purple flowers on short spikes in spring and summer. Grows to about 15 cm high. Good for rockeries, between pavers, forms a nice dense barrier to weeds. Not invasive.

Good for low-maintenance banks and slopes, flower beds and garden borders.
